What we do with your data

What the application collects, what stays only in your browser, and for how long — written out plainly.

Who handles your data

The controller is FOLLOW MARGIN, UNIPESSOAL LDA, company number 514569298, which operates the King Fleet brand, with its registered office at R. Sebastião Cordeiro 30, 8100-628 Loulé, Faro, Portugal.

For anything about your data, write to geral@kingfleet.pt — a person answers, not an automated form.

What we collect

The application has two parts. The seven choices about the car, the paperwork and the start date — the car's age and doors, the status of the TVDE insurance, the certificate, the group II endorsement and the criminal record, and when you want to start — stay only in your browser until you submit the full form.

The four contact fields — name, phone, email and your preferred channel — only reach the server the moment you submit the application, along with your agreement to be contacted.

What stays in your browser

The draft of the seven choices is stored in your browser so you don't have to start over if you leave halfway through — but never with your name, phone or email: those only exist once you write them in the last step.

The only other thing this site stores in your browser is your choice between the light and dark theme, so it doesn't ask again on every visit.

This site measures audiences with Google Analytics, and only after you allow it in the cookie bar. Until you do — or if you decline — no request is made to Google and no measurement cookie is created. Your answer is kept in your own browser, not in a cookie. There are no advertising pixels and no other tracking tools.

After you submit

The server validates the request again, applies a rate limit per IP address — kept only in memory, for the life of the server process, never on disk — and logs, in its own log, only whether the car qualifies, the reasons and what's still missing. Your name, phone and email never go into that log.

When email delivery is active, your contact details and answers are sent by email to King Fleet's inbox (geral@kingfleet.pt), so the team can get back to you. Beyond that, the application isn't stored in any database of King Fleet's own.

Legal basis

We process your contact details on the basis of the consent you give by ticking "I agree to be contacted about this application" — without that tick, the form won't submit. The per-IP rate limit rests on the legitimate interest of protecting the form from abuse.

For how long

The draft in your browser stays there until you clear it yourself, until you submit the application, or until you clear the site's data in your browser. The per-IP rate limit lasts one minute. What's delivered by email is subject to the retention rules of King Fleet's own inbox — this site doesn't set its own retention period for that email.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, and object to how it's processed, by writing to geral@kingfleet.pt.
